About our Volunteers

CCCA Volunteers provide professional careers support to those most disadvantaged in the community.  Our volunteers have many years of experience in careers counselling and are certified professionals and associates of the Career Education Association of Victoria.

CCCA volunteers give back to our community by assisting individuals in their career development, providing professional careers planning workshops, résumé development, job interviewing classes and a wide range of career management services.

CCCA Volunteer career practitioners are from a range of backgrounds including, retired and semi-retired counsellors, graduates or student career practitioners in training.

Our Volunteers all undergo an extensive training and induction program which includes the fundamentals of career development, CCCA processes and procedures, and the CEAV Code of Ethics and standards that we follow, and need to have a current Working with Children Check.

CCCA welcomes volunteers from the community.  If you would like more information on the work of our volunteers or are interested in becoming a CCCA Volunteer please complete the enquiry form and one of our friendly CCCA staff members will contact you.

Become a Volunteer

CEAV Career Counselling Australia (CCCA) needs your support, we are always looking for volunteers. Volunteers help us to support those most disadvantaged in the community, who do not have the financial means to pay for professional career counselling.

If you have recently completed the Cert IV or Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice, then this is a great opportunity for you to build your skills. Volunteering will allow you to gain experience working with individuals of all ages, from diverse backgrounds and those experiencing barriers to employment.

CCCA also provides supervised practicum opportunities for students undertaking either of the above-mentioned qualifications.
